The world of college admissions has changed drastically from a generation ago. There are new ways to apply to college, more competition for the same amount of seats, and, of course, costs to attend a four-year private or public school have risen dramatically. Then there is the teenager who not only has to decide what he/she wants to do after high school, but where to do it. Statistics show 1 in 3 freshmen do not return to the college they enrolled in for their sophomore year. Why? There are many reasons, but a major one is this: Students don't plan to fail, rather they fail to plan. Spending time researching this decision with a qualified professional will go a long way toward identifying that right fit.

What We Do

At Eagle, we spend a significant amount of time getting to know your child and his/her interests. What's important to the child? What are they good at? How independent are they? Are they looking at a big, city school or a smaller suburban or rural school. With this information, Eagle and your child can work together to cultivate a list of colleges that most closely match their abilities, interests and academic achievement. Working on a 1-on-1 basis over time will help your child learn more about himself. The staff at Eagle has broad experience levels working in a public school setting, for a corporate admissions consulting organization, and several test preparation organizations.
